ground parrot (Pezoporus wallicus)

this is the full shot of the blown-up section I posted earlier -- http://www.zoochat.com/674/ground-parrot-pezoporus-wallicus-177207/ -- so you can get an idea of how well camouflaged these parrots are. It is sitting just to the right of the path, at the left of the base of the pink-flowering plant. (You might need a magnifying glass :D)
