This is the caudatus subspecies where the fur forming the white part of the pelt and the tailtip is longer and thicker, and the tail is completely white. This subspecies is only found in Arusha and Kilimanjaro National Parks in Tanzania, and a few similar mountainous areas in Kenya.
It was late afternoon which produced the goldeny glow in the fur.
