I would say this is almost definetly a Griffon Vulture (Gyps fulvus). G. fulvus have a brownish-tan body, while G. himalayenis have a brownish-tan back, with a pale underbelly. Plus, a quick search on the Internet, and I have found that G. himalayenis are not native to France.
@EternalPigeon Given this was taken at a zoo in France that is well-known for its large bird flight show, I strongly suspect it is a captive bird rather than a wild one - given that Zootierliste says Beauval holds both species, and neither are native to the area where the zoo is
