Holotype and the only known specimen of Haplocheirus sollers (IVPP V15988), the earliest known alvarezsauroid theropod. Found in the Middle Jurassic Shishugou Formation in China, its discovery extends the stratigraphic record of the group by 63 million years. The specimen is exceptionally well-preserved, featuring a complete and articulated skeleton along with a three-dimensional skull.
