I think you mean aldabra (not aruba). Those are in their own enclosure in another part of the zoo. This enclosure has two galapagos tortoises (which are not always visible) and two rheas - one white and one normal.
However, we recently acquired them and were without rheas for a few years, so it is highly likely that there were none there at the time of your visit.
