The largest of the park's 8 walk-in aviaries, at 1.55 hectares. It recreates the dense forests of equatorial Africa and will supposedly house about 80 species.
Having an almost 4-acre aviary is staggering, especially when one considers that this is just one of many walk-through complexes at Bird Paradise. Will the Shoebills, Wattled Cranes, Saddlebill Storks and other large birds all be together in the one huge space or will they be in their own exhibits within the gigantic aviary?
