I was looking through some old photos and found these of the Herbivore/Carnivore exhibits. It\'s a little grainy because it\'s scanned.

This exhibit was home to: Gerenuks, Lesser Kudus, Eastern Bongos, Yellow-backed Duikers, Secretary Birds, and Crowned Cranes.

Four species of antelope? Boy, I wish I could have seen Herbivore/Carnivore. My first visit to Cols was August 2008, 2 years after Asia Quest opened. Gerenuk, lesser kudu, eastern bongo, and yellow-backed duiker really aren't found in zoos. They have greater kudu and crowned crane at HoA, and black duikers at Congo, but those aren't the same as the four antelope species they phased out! Black duiker, greater kudu, common wildebest, and dama, rhim and Thomson's gazelles (five species) aren't the same as all the antelope/hoofstock/etc they phased out for Asia Quest.
