I can't give you a comprehensive list, only from memory. I recall a South American exhibit with jaguars overlooking several species. I know they had capybaras and giant anteater(s) I'm sure there was more, but I can't say for sure. There were tigers overlooking an Asian exhibit, but i don't remember much beyond that. The African section had giraffes, zebras, kudu, and I believe okapi at some point. Lions on the overlook. There was also a group of two or three smaller exhibits between the old Elephant building and Herbivore/Carnivore. This contained colobus monkeys and black panthers for sure. May have been something else, too.
The old elephant building had elephants, rhinos, hippos, and tapirs. It also had a funky concrete rock path right in the middle of the building.

I know this is slightly off topic, but from what i read in the International Zoo Yearbooks, in the 1960s or 1970s, Columbus Zoo actually had Abbotts duiker (Cephalophus spadix) if you can believe that, do you know anything about this ?
The reason I bring it up in this thread is because it may be possible that they lived in the Herbivore Carnivore Area

The exhibit that replaced H/C, Asia Quest, has Amur tigers. African Forest opened in 2000 and has okapi and colobus monkeys. Giraffes, zebras and kudu are at the new Heart of Africa savanna. The zoo no longer has black panthers, capybaras, giant anteaters, and black panthers. Lions were in a cage near the Asia Quest exit but are now at HoA (Heart of Africa).

Dromedary camels were I think also held here. Such a shame that they phased out a lot of hoofstock . Gerenuk, lesser kudu, yellow-backed duiker, bongo, chital, nilgai, Darwin's rhea, marabou stork and White-cheeked gibbon were also submitted on another thread by Buckeye092- 'Animals you'd like to see at your zoo but are no longer there' or something. The zoo has greater kudu at the new HoA, black duiker at African Forest and Lar gibbons/siamangs at Southeast Asia.
Anyway, I learned from a TAG document for antelope that blackbuck were held with Reeves' muntjacs, sika deer and nilgai, Bongo with cranes (probably crowned, idk what species), gerenuk, lesser kudu and yellow-backed duiker.
