Glad that some more attention is being paid to the Insect Fauna in the zoo community. Actually, these beetles are under pressure from the collection trade.
This was actually rather a fascinating insect house - some nice species and architecturally very odd - there are two rows of glass cases along opposite walls as is commonplace, but with the difference that there was no solid roof between the walls and no end walls or doors, so that the visitor was outside. I'm not sure if they have a problem with temperature regulation but the building seems to have been in use a long time so I guess not.
