Green mamba. It was only after I'd got this photo onto my computer that I noticed the Gaboon viper.

Camouflage works!

Interesting mix of venomous species! Is that a second green mamba at the top of the photo?

Yes, there were two green mambas and (at least) one gaboon viper in this vivarium. It was a combination I wasn't expecting so I watched the active mambas and managed to miss the viper completely. It's still a bit scary that I missed the viper even when I was looking for snakes.

This set-up was just a trial. It ran for three to four months but now that a larger enclosure is available, it was decided to move the gaboon viper.
