dean 14 Feb 2014 Nice set of photos Hippo, on my visit in the 1980's they were indoor enclosures then,though i was allowed to stroke one it felt very rubber like.

Pleistohorse 15 Feb 2014 Nice exhibit. I visited Antwerp Zoo in about 10 years ago and loved it. I can see quite a difference in this picture, as too what I remember.
