@TinoPup Did you see the other image I uploaded of the male? I don't know enough to rule out hybrid, but it definitely doesn't look like it should be any sort of unmixed domestic goat.
I think these animals are “tur-heavy”; however, I would hesitate to suggest they’re purebred animals. The horns on the male look very West Caucasian tur/Alpine ibex, but the coloration on both individuals looks more East Caucasian tur/Alpine ibex. All three species are around in the private trade, but unfortunately, hybridization is quite common in Caprines in the private trade.
@biggest_dreamer , @Kudu21 did a much better job explaining it than I would have A lot of places similar to this one list that they have the species, but they very rarely look pure, with the % of domestic-ness varying.
@DelacoursLangur - And anyone can submit anything on ZTL, so I’d take that listing with a grain of salt. I stand by what I said in my earlier post as far as the ID of this animal goes.
