Horsfield's Tarsier (Tarsius bancanus)

Though am not sure, I suppose this specimen is Horsfield's tarsier (Tarsius bancanus). I assume this because I know most of animals in "zoological institutions" on Borneo are brought in from the wild, so it's a logical deduction. This one was, of course, asleep during my 'diurnal' visit.

Great photo!

Am I the only one, who's thinking this guy looks like a Tarsier ?

PS. Gremlins was made by Joe Dante, not Steven Spielberg. I've seen that movie several times, but not only one gremlin looks like a tarsier....

So this pictures shows a Gremlin, and as everybody can see, it looks completly diffrent than a Tarsier..

Oh "Mister Knows everything better": Spielberg was the (main) producer of this movie! (I did not wrote that he was the director). First inform, then write...

this is an excellent photo, far better than any I managed to get at Lok Kawi (the one tarsier they had was right up the top of its cage in a very bad position for photography).

And yes it is a Horsfield's tarsier (aka western tarsier).
