This photo shows maybe a third of the entire penguin exhibit, which is the best that I've ever seen. A recreation of a South American coastline that captivates adults as much as children, and will surely be a candidate for best new exhibit at 2010's annual AZA Conference.
Judging from a recent ZooChat thread, the Dutch zoo Emmen has an amazingly realistic penguin exhibit that has a sandy beach area for the birds to rest, as well as a fantastic underwater viewing area that has massive panels for visitors to have lots of room to see the diving birds.
