This photo only shows a portion of the large, AZA award-winning Humboldt Penguin exhibit, as the complex is a superb recreation of a Peruvian coastline. Since the habitat opened in 2009 more than 30 chicks have been born at the zoo:
This is my favorite penguin exhibit anywhere. Omaha and Sea World have great polar penguin exhibits, but this exhibit really made me feel like I was in South America.
