Vicuna on the left of the fence, Bactrian wapiti on the right, along with European moose and the soon to arrive musk oxen a must see at the top end of the main reserve.
N.B The musk oxen enclosure will NOT be drive through.
I know when harassed they will chase 4 wheel bikes, as how close you can get a Musk ox to your bike is a common pastime if Inuit kids in the Arctic.
It was always a concern hiking there that we may come across a Musk Ox the kids had just finished stirring up, and we often walked within 100m and as close to 50m from Musk Ox.
The Bactrian Wapiti calf shows quite clearly in this shot, so I reckon I could see it in the same place in the Bactrian Wapiti shot also. But in this one the big antlered Stag is out of the shot(somewhere to the right?)
