I would never have thought that this would be my last pic of Mercedes, a sad few weeks to lose both her and Knut, probably the most famous polar bears, if not animals in the world.
But as always with these things, time to grieve and move on, a superb facility waiting for a young female polar bear and a new era of polar bear management for RZSS.
