@Orca obsessed Kira is mostly Rothschild, though she does appear to have Reticulated blood in her as well. In regards to the hybrids of giraffes, until the early 2000s it was believed giraffes all belonged to a single species with mixed herds in zoos. Therefore, many hybrid species and subspecific animals were born.
For example, most of the N.American population of giraffe is made up of hybrid animals with very few pure Retics and Rothschild's left. The AZA ensure the breeding of pure Maasai, however.
