Hybrid lapwing - Masked lapwing X Southern lapwing (Vanellus miles miles X V. chilensis), 2021-06-15

Both parent species were housed free-ranging in the tropical hall, or may still be, but I did not see any Southern lapwings anymore in 2020 or 2021. The masked lapwings can regularly be seen in the tortoise paddocks and sometimes also in the area near the entrance of the reptile corridor.
