As I\'ve explained elsewhere, GaiaZoo uses a concept inspired by Lovelock\'s Gaia hypothesis. Limburg, the region in which GaiaZoo is located, is used as a starting point. Limburg in eras past (Ice Ages, Cretaceous and Carboniferous) is connected to regions and animals of today. The Ice Ages are connected to animals living in the Taiga and northern regions today (including invasive species). The blueish structure in the back represents a glacier, on it stands a replica of a Megaloceros.
