The island on the right is the gibbon island and on the left is the Ring-tailed lemur island however these are both empty during winter. The pond usually has waterfowl in it but during winter they are moved to a much smaller pond that must be easier to keep liquid.
The building that can be seen behind with the domed roof is the elephant house.
