Mr. Bobcat

ID this fish.

A friend thought it looked like a Rockhind Grouper. Can anybody confirm?
@olhl.animal.photography head is too large for Cromileptes altivelis - that species has a very distinctive tiny, low-set head giving the fish a hunch-backed appearance - which the fish in this image lacks. There are multiple other grouper species with similar patterning - often pattern alone is not sufficient to identify species in this family.
