Any idea on subspecies?

There are illustrations of each subspecies here: Village Weaver (Ploceus cucullatus) | HBW Alive if you want to have a look.

It is clearly not spilonotus or collaris as you can see from the link, however, I don't think this picture shows enough to tell if it is any of the other subspecies. Do you know that it is one pure subspecies?

Edit: Just realised that you have to have a subscription to HBW Alive to view the illustrations of the subspecies.

Its a Village weaver male for sure but I also think you can't tell the subspecies from this picture. I'm also not sure if the captive population still is pure or if subspecies have been mixed-up.

I saw ztl lists a couple of pure subspecies within Europe and they look different so I figured I'd see if there was a chance this was one of them
