Sorry the pic is very dark. Seen December 2019 at Osaka Aquarium, Japan Deep exhibit. Large, at least 1m long, didn't move, sat near the top of the tank.
@ralph I think I found it, Skilfish (Erilepis zonifer). JAZA records a listing of the species at Osaka Aquarium, right size and shape. I believe this is the second photo of the species on Zoochat.
Actually it's more likely Striped Jewfish (Stereolepis doederleini). JAZA lists a holding at Osaka Aquarium and matches the body shape more than Skilfish.
