A juvenile turkey is all I can think of

That tail is not from a Wild Turkey! My first thought is brush-turkey.

@birdsandbats I agree! This looks like an Australian Brush Turkey (unless it's a chachalaca with a bad head molt!).

@birdsandbats @Summer Tanager thanks for reviving this! I’m still perplexed. I initially thought Brush Turkey as well, but the coloration seems off. Maybe this one was just in rough shape? Would love to get to the bottom of this.

My guess is Summer Tanager had the right thought with chachalaca. I do not know if identification to species level is possible here.

Odd looking bird, and I'm inclined to agree with the chachalaca train of thought. Also agree with @birdsandbats that ID to species level is probably not possible unless someone has good information about the facility's bird collection.
