Benosaurus

Inca

Hard to believe she's possibly the oldest Asiatic black bear in the entire world. She turned 36 years-old on 29th March 2016.

A delight to see. I can't remember the last time I saw her awake for more than a few moments. I watched her for about 20 minutes steadily walk from the back to the front of her enclosure, taking regular breaks along the way.

She's very stiff on her legs, but her eyes were bright and fur in excellent condition, she seemed alert and very interested in her surroundings and was constantly sniffing the air. A wonderful sight.
