This enclosure really did impress me, being very large (I would say around 5ft x 6ft ground space). This photo only shows a very small amount of this fantastic enclosure.

Species held in this enclosure, according to the signage, are as follows:

Dyeing Poison-dart Frog (Dendrobates tinctorius)
Cone-headed Lizard (Laemanctus longipes)
Strawberry Poison-dart Frog (Oophaga pumilio)
Green and Black Poison-dart Frog (Dendrobates auratus)
Leaf Frog (Agalychnis ????)

I saw all of these apart from the Strawberry and the Leaf Frog. Although, I did see two other species in this enclosure, that I could not identify.

I always enjoy a visit to the vivarium-fantastic variety of very interesting species and as this picture shows very nicely done tanks with lots of foliage. Definitely worth a visit(the museums good too and has a big natural history exhibit!)

You need to look very carefully to see all the occupants in that vivarium. I spotted some Anolis lizards and a tiny dark frog last time I was there. The labelling does need a little work.
I recommend the Museum's Frog Blog to find out more about the work there, FROG BLOG MANCHESTER
