@Tafin I assumed they did, but I just looked up a photo of them all (Permai, Putra Mas and Teduh) and only Permai had a noticeable volume of hair. They all arrived together (and were all of the Indian subspecies like Tricia), but are unrelated.
@Jambo I think it’s that Tricia is on the larger size. She weighs 3,600 kg; compared to Num Oi at Melbourne who is 3,000kg and Burma at Auckland Zoo who is 2,900kg. I’d imagine Permai is around the same size as these young females.
@Zoofan15 that makes sense. Kashin at Auckland grew up to 3,400 kg. I would assume Mek Kapah would be similar in size to Tricia. Num-Oi is noticeably the smallest female at MZ, so Kulab and Dokkon would probably be around 3,200-400 kg.
Bong-Su weighed 4,750 kg. How much is Putra Mas compared to Bong Su?
@Jambo Putra Mas is 4,700kg, so a similar size. I found a new article from 2015 that said Num Oi is 3,000kg. Interestingly, at the same age (15) - Dokkoon was only 2,500kg. Dokkoon looks quite tall, which probably makes her appear larger than Num Oi.
