At almost 37 years old (born at Planckendael, August 9th, 1982), Johanna is one of the oldest if not the oldest Indian rhinoceros in Europe and according to staff it is noticeable. She used to be a breeding female but is now retired. She is the daughter of Zutuma who lived to age 40.
