Interesting shot as I've never seen one of the females with a small calf in this enclosure before. Reminds me rather of the 1950/60's breedings in the old (now demolished) paddock and yards in the centre of the Park.

Indeed, in recent years, I’ve normally seen females with small calves in the newer enclosures on the opposite side of the indoor accommodation.

However, in the past, I do remember seeing young Indian rhinos in the nearby enclosure, similar to this one, which now houses gaur.

Yes, I also recall Indian rhinos in the old exhibit you mention; it was near the giraffes and in later years was used for Congo buffalo.
