Wow, did this species ever breed at ZSL London Zoo, if so when? Also, how did they do there and how was their husbandry different from the Northern tree shrews you see most often today?
 
@UngulateNerd92 I'm sorry that I can't give you any details. I know that tree shrews were being studied in captivity at this time at the Wellcome Institute of Comparative Physiology, which was part of ZSL (it later became part of the Institute of Zoology). Tupaia tana and Tupaia minor were also on show in the Clore at around this time - I have posted photos of them in this Gallery.
