The zebras were in with african crowned cranes, ostriches and greater kudu. The giraffes had a separate exhibit with some type of small gazelle.

wonderful picture by the way.
I like the exhibit fence, it isn't that visible and the lifted view of the animals allows you to see the tracks down the center. Most of the time animals skirt around the edges of the ridges and enclosures and wear paths into the grass and such. I wonder why they take the center instead, maybe because the path was pre-made by design and their for the path of least resistance? or is the sand feels better under foot? Id think they wouldn't enjoy sinking in the sand it uses more energy to get around.

This exhibit contains Grant's Zebras, White-bearded Wildebeest, Greater Kudu, Ostriches, Marabou Storks, and Ruppell's Griffon Vultures.
