No it doesn't, it just looks like every behind the scenes exhibit in the Brehm House Been to Dortmund lately ? Most zoos have advanced.
It is a brilliant photo by the way
Thank you!
Sure, I live in Dortmund The exhibit isn't bad just becauce of the tiles, they've got much climbing structure and can make them completely invisible, they have just to go inside the birth exhibit.
I didn't say its bad - (it might very well be, but I don't know), it is although quite ugly and if they breed successfully remains to be seen. Larger cats all around them can cause quite a bit of stress to clouded leopards. Breeding clouded leopards isn't an easy thing and similar enclosures and settings have not been overly successful in the past.
Oh yes - I do know you live in Dortmund - doesn't necessarily mean you live at the zoo
Clouded leopards generally tend to be quiet and timid, but the fact that the clouded leopards in the Brehm House are quiet does not mean that they are not stressed. Clouded leopards don't necessarily become nervous or stereotypical when stressed, they often just "freeze" and do nothing. I have to admit although that the cat in the picture does not look overly stressed, but as Tarsius likes to say "one picture tells nothing about the situation the animal is in" (or something like that)
