Indonesia Pet Expo 2018 - Melanistic Asian Palm Civet (Paradoxurus hermaphroditus)

Taken back in September 2018

This individual is a pet owned by a member of Pepmians. The melanistic form of Asian Palm Civet is native to Lombok. Some biologists proposed them to be a subspecies of the Asian Palm Civet called Rinjani Palm Civet (Paradoxurus hermaphroditus rinjanicus).

Interesting animal, though I am not too happy about it being kept as a pet.
