It´s an outside cage for orangs and white handed gibbons.
It´s not a visitor´s path This area, together with the big gate in the back wall, allows trucks/cranes to drive into this cage. It helps when you need to move heavy thinks, for example the climbing trees or to do other refurbishing/maintenance of the exhibit. Maybe it doesn´t help to make this exhibit more "natural looking", but it´s practical for the zoo workers.
