@German Zoo World They originally received two males from Tierpark Berlin. One of them sadly later passed away. Earlier this year they received two more males. ZTL says they also came from a German facility, but doesn't specify which one.
The Alpine Project, interesting. To make it at or near-complete geographically, I would add certain Japanese alpine taxa. If Japanese serow (Capricornis crispus) were still present in European zoos, I think they would make a nice addition to this complex if there was room.
