The skeleton is of “Jacqueline”, an Asiatic elephant, who lived at Antwerp Zoo from 1852 to 1880.

The skeleton of the Asiatic elephant "Jacqueline" is no longer exhibited in the "Egyptian Temple" style building. Does anyone know what happened to it? Was it, perhaps, sent to the Zoology Museum in Brussels?

@Tim May It is now in the Butterfly Room of the Antwerp Zoo. Not the Butterfly Hall with the flying butterflies but a room next to it that can be reserved.

Thank you for letting me know. I'm pleased to know it's still at Antwerp Zoo.
