Looks nice. I do enjoy a good zoo restaurant (in my experience more common in Western Europe than United States). I know some obsessive people on this forum think taking a lunch break is a waste of time and they want to maximize their time at exhibits, but for me having a nice long lunch break mid-day is an enjoyable part of the visiting experience.
@Arizona Docent I agree that Gaia's Kitchen is a pretty nice restaurant. The food there is decent too, though not cheap. Personally I do like a break somewhere in the day and I also don't normally take the risk of not having lunch as it can make me cranky or even feeling weak. I do usually try to have lunch as quickly as possible. Often during lunch I look over the zoo's map to plan out the rest of the day.
