Photographed on Sewerby steps, Bridlington a few yards from the beach. It appeared to be dead. On the basis that it looks like a Woodlouse I presume it must be related to one.
Porcellio scaber was also my first thought, but to be a P. scaber it needs to have less antennae segments.... So it is definetely not that. The only other species with so much antennae segments is Ligidium hypnorum, but that one looks completely different.
The rear spines are not at all visible in the photo, which could be possible if it is a dead specimen.
