I uploaded a whole bunch of photos with close-up views of the jaguar that was on exhibit from this weekend, and with the 30 "Jaguar Cove" photos from one visit I'm guessing that there must be over 100 shots of the award-winning habitat. The cat became really agitated due to the presence of a seeing-eye dog that was right next to the glass, and the jaguar pounced up and down on the end of one of the branches that overhang the deep pool. It then literally ran back and forth along the perimeter of the wall, and I couldn't get any adequate photos as there was a huge crowd of people there.
On a side note, it is highly amusing to walk into the tropical building that is directly next to the Jaguar Cove exhibit. The first enclosure on the left is for ocelots, and I have heard this comment many times: "aaahhh, look at the baby jaguars!"
How many enclosures are there in jaguar cove and what size are they, as it's very difficult to judge with the thick vegetation. From one what I've seen this exhibit is possibly one of the best for this species.
