I uploaded quite a few photos of the enclosure, including one from just about every conceivable angle. I think that it is either #1 or #2 in the country, but Jacksonville's 2 exhibits and 8 jaguars takes some beating. It's a close call.
Apparently there are more than 1,500 plants of over 100 different varieties in the enclosure, plus a very deep pool that unfortunately I've never seen a jaguar in! There are two cats, a male and a female, and they rotate in the exhibit. Another outstanding habitat at a world class zoo, and hopefully the new penguin enclosure carries on the tradition of terrific, award-winning exhibits.
I think I can honestly say that this is the best piece of landscaping design I have ever seen! I have actually spent at least an hour looking at these new photos of this exhibit, today!
