A great species, albeit one I fear will not be around for us to enjoy much longer.
 
Unfortunately there is only one male left in europe, who came to Magdeburg Zoo from Los Angeles two years ago.
 
It's female "Mädi" shown on this photo. She was born in 1997 at Berlin and moved to Zoo Vienna in 1999. Her partner "Burli" went over the rainbow bridge in November 2012 at the age of 22!
