This photo was taken by a visitor from Calgary at the end of May. This enclosure contains a mother macaque and her baby. Up until recently, the father was in there as well. He has now been separated and is housed alone elsewhere in the zoo. The baby can and regularly does escape through the gate of the enclosure, according to staff and my personal experience.
When she visited he was limping and didn't stray from the cage.
