Only three times in my zoo-visiting life have I seen something so morally bankrupt that it is beyond the pale in terms of what an institution can be forgiven for. Far worse than bad enclosures, circus style shows or even live feeding, this is a zoo selling live animals in sealed containers that visitors can take home and watch starve to death.
