I re-watched the Tortoise Video, and Thane said 'exhibits' around the Reptile House while the camera wasn't even pointing near the 'future' tortoise area. So let's cross our fingers that they will move the alligators outside after the renovation.
There is certainly enough room behind the Reptile House for additional outdoor enclosures, so hopefully the alligators will eventually receive an outdoor enclosure.
