The last time we have had new world vulture species on display was when they were exhibited with the Giant Elands about 15 years ago in the African Veldt (Rhino Reserve). They were Lappet-faced Vultures, a species the zoo was supposed to receive again this year for this exact exhibit, however, they never received them. We have a Black Vulture presented in the Wings of Wonder Show.
