It is worth noting that contrary to the species listing on the Port Lympne website - and indeed Zootierliste, as someone (naming no names) keeps reverting the correct information because it is not mentioned on the collection website - the herd of Lechwe at Port Lympne are almost all Kafue Lechwe, with only a single individual being true Red Lechwe. This individual is a Kafue Lechwe.
