I'm very dissappointed, not yet any pictures or video of the dead animals ? Fortunately, "Karlo" the breeding male of the petting zoos pigeons, is save.
Why are you going out of your way to insult Animal?
Animal, is a respected poster on here, and with news such as this does not post lightly, whereas you seem to be taking some enjoyment, from what is a tragic incident.
Not a subject to be joked about, with or without irony!
@kiang. Don't missundnerstand me, I don't insult anybody here. But it is interesting to know, so many people here are sad because of the death of 26 domestic animals. On the other side, everyday thousands of domestic animals loosing their lifes in europe only this people can eat them...Think about it.Or is there a diffrence ?
There is a difference, these animals were not bred and reared for the pot, they were brought in for exhibition and interaction with visitors, Shetland ponies and llamas not your typical fayre.
I am sure there will be children in the city of Karlsruhe (some adults too), that have fond memories of this section of their zoo, and will feel loss deeply.
Tarsius, some posters have called for your removal from the site, i for one haven't and will not, your photos are eagerly viewed, from many collections.
But yet some of your responses, here and in the past, seem to have the habit of winding fellow zoochatters up.
Therefore i ask, please understand not all of us share the same sense of humour, think before you post, thank you.
