Keeper Ed, friend of pigeons, surveying the scene, 1st February 2015

When Keeper Ed arrived in the morning he found one of the unusual pigeons that appeared a while ago had been seized by a Sparrowhawk so he caught up the two remaining birds and placed them in the old flamingo shed in the walk-through aviary. When I took this photograph he and I had just chivvied them out of the shed (on the right of the photograph) so they could get their bearings in the aviary.

P.S. Ed, I have searched for you again on the list of members. Guess what?!! You had better post those photographs - maybe you will appear then? And they are good photos!!
