Unfortunately, I didn't see Kera interacting with any of the others. She was indoors on the right hand side as you look through the windows, whilst the others were all either outside or on the left hand side indoors. When the feed had finished, Jock went back indoors and he walked into the area where Kera was but he didn't even look at her, so there was no interaction at all. He sat on the floor whilst she stayed up on the ledge. She had full access outside as well, but in the keeper talk they said she hasn't really gone outside with the others yet. Apparently, she is interacting with the group more and more though.
Interesting but I think it will be many months before she is properly a part of the group- in fact, being unrelated to any of the others, perhaps not until she starts(hopefully) to breed herself?
When I was at Bristol last week, she stayed in that compartment inside, but she was close to Salome at one point and she was interacting with Komale a little. I hope that it won't be too long before Romina has another baby (I should have asked the keeper if she is coming into season again yet, but I was running out of time), a new baby may well interest and educate Kera.

i believe Romina has resumed oestrus but is not pregnant yet. Did you know she somehow became pregnant and miscarried while rearing Namoki?
Another new baby would help Kera observe mothering skills with a tiny infant. This group are doing really well now- the 'small social group' they wanted is a reality.

It certainly is, however I do worry about this groups because the enclosure capacity will restrict breeding when really it would be great to see this group expand to a much healthier size.
